Shapermint approached us with a seemingly insurmountable challenge: to create a shapewear campaign that celebrated body positivity. Um, how? How could we possibly intertwine these seemingly contradictory ideals? The answer came to us through an epiphany - that even though women know they should love their body, actually loving it is hard. Every woman's journey to self-love is unique and sometimes challenging - and on the days when you’re just not feeling it, it’s okay to ask for a little help. From this truth, the groundbreaking marketing campaign, "Unleash Your Masterpiece," was bornit's okay for women to need a little support on days when self-love is tough. And thus, the enchanting marketing campaign, "Feel like the Masterpiece You Are,” was born.
The Venus de Milo, an ancient Greek statue renowned for her exquisite figure, served as the primary inspiration for our shapewear campaign. With her timeless beauty and sensual curves, Venus de Milo embodies a captivating form that transcends generations. We wanted to tap into this enduring allure and empower women to see themselves as living, breathing works of art. By drawing parallels between the iconic statue and our shapewear, we aim to remind women that just as Venus de Milo has captivated the world with her beauty, they too can embrace their curves and feel like a masterpiece.
